dynamika sIn September and October 2011 export rate in Polish automotive sector maintained growth tendency but its dynamics were not as high as in the preceding months.

From January to September last year, the value of automotive exports from Poland arrived at EUR 15.54 billion, an increase of 12.91 percent against the figure for the previous year. In absolute terms, exports for the first nine months of 2011 were up by over EUR 1.66 billion compared to the same period of the previous year.

During the nine months, 82.01 percent of the exports were attributable to the fist “top ten” countries.

Exports of cars and LCVs amounted to less than EUR 5.29 billion, which was an increase of 3.29 percent against the previous year. This category accounted for 36.38 percent of the automotive industry’s total exports, down by 3.39 percent compared to the same period of 2010.

The value of exports of parts and accessories was over EUR 4.84 billion, up by 10.83 percent against the figure for the previous year. This category accounted for 33.31 percent of the automotive industry’s total exports. Compared to the same period of 2010, this figure was down by 0.63 percent.

Exports of diesel engines in the first nine months of last year amounted to EUR 1.89 billion, which was an increase of 32.88 percent compared to the January-September period of 2010. In relation to the automotive industry’s total exports, this figure rose by 1.96 percent to 13.01 percent.

In October, automotive exports amounted to EUR 1.61 billion (+6.97 percent).

AutomotiveSuppliers.pl forecasts that the automotive industry’s exports in all of 2011 may amount to EUR 18.7-19.1 billion.
